How this post works:
These great photographs are literally begging for captions. All you need to do is scroll through these awesome images (hopefully enjoying the captions as you go)… once you’re done, simply put any captions into the comment box and we’ll add them to the pictures!
Example:
Penguin & Girl on Sofa – “Oh dear Mum, I think the man at the Pet Shop has been lying to you again. This isn’t a cat.”

The subject of today’s post was originally intended to be ‘Vintage Adverts’ or perhaps ’50 Inspiring Vintage Adverts’.
I set about my research (on none other than www.vintageadbrowser.com) and came across a collection of amusing 1950s Budweiser adverts – naturally the subject was set to change to ’50 Inspiring Vintage Beer Adverts’.
After some further research I was surprised to find that a popular theme in vintage beer adverts was lobsters… and so I arrived at a new title for today’s post – ‘A Brief History of Lobsters in Advertising’.

Lets face it – the design of wine labels is important.
For those of us whose knowledge of wine goes little beyond red and white (I think there’s a pink one too) the appearance of the bottle is the only fall back we have when browsing the shelves. Here at the reflexstock blog we’ve decided to pay tribute to designers who have excelled in various areas of the field (or should I say vineyard) of wine bottle design.
